Industrial Field Service Technician

Currently seeking experienced Service Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. Candidates will provide field support to our customers including installation, wiring, troubleshooting, service and customer training.

Ideal Candidates will have customer service skills and problem solving skills pertaining to mechanical, electrical, PLC controls and HVAC.

Responsibilities:

Installing and starting up UV&IR Drying systems at customer facilites.

Troubleshooting customer problems over the phone, via internet and in the field.

In-house testing and building of systems on the production floor.

Qualifications: Degree or training in electrical engineering or engineering technology.

Experience:

Must read schematics, have experience with PLCs and HMIs.

Knowledge and use of following test equipment: digital multimeter with amp clamp, digital temperature meter.

Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical hand and power tools.

Travel: Approximately 25% travel. Most travel in North America, occasionally out of the country.
