the girl & the fig in Sonoma is currently hiring Bussers to join our team.

We are a restaurant group with multiple locations in the Sonoma Valley, which includes the girl & the fig in Sonoma, the fig café in Glen Ellen, the girl & the fig CATERS!, Suite D, and our FIGfood product line. Bussers maintain the cleanliness of the dining and service areas of the restaurant as well as set and clear tables in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner. Teamwork with other service staff and Dishwashers is critical for the success of this position.

The Perfect Candidate is

Able to provide friendly and responsible service to our guests

A positive individual and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

A Typical Day Includes…

Set up dining room for service, clearing and setting tables, and assisting other service staff

Serve water to guests and keep water glasses above half full

Assist in restocking flatware and glassware to service areas

Keep work area clean and organized

Ensure a positive guest experience

This Job Requires

Ability to provide or complete a CA Food Handler Certification and renew as necessary

General restaurant knowledge

Ability to work schedule and arrive on time

Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out simple instructions

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds.

Requires standing more than 90% of time during work shift.

Part-time or full-time positions available

Hourly wage is $17.60 + gratuities
