Host & Runner/Busser Needed

Host and Runner positions available!

Oeste bar in Old Oakland is looking for experienced hosts and runners. We are looking for part-time positions during our regular hours, with weekend availability a must. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a wonderful team. Oeste has two active seating areas - our outdoor rooftop deck and our main floor indoors. Oeste is a high energy environment - a bar that serves great food and drinks, and a place where all communities of Oakland (and beyond) feel welcome.

Requirements for all positions:

Able to assist in pre-opening duties and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down all service areas

Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Must have excellent customer service skills and be a team player

Have proficient communication skills in English

Prior restaurant experience preferred

Must have the physical ability and stamina to climb stairs, lift up to 35lbs, carry heavy trays and stand for long hours

Must have a stable, solid work history
