MANUFACTURING ENGINEER OPENINGDescription:Seeking Manufacturing Engineer in Indianapolis The primary duties involve troubleshooting and repairing various types of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities outlined in the description include:

Troubleshooting machine malfunctions using knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.

Diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical wiring systems.

Maintaining and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems on industrial equipment.

Evaluating equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production downtime.

Modifying equipment as needed to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.

Providing support in the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment, including major overhauls.

Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial manufacturing.

Performing other duties as assigned, which could include additional maintenance or operational tasks.

This role requires a strong technical background in industrial machinery, electrical systems, mechanical systems, and control systems, as well as the ability to work efficiently under pressure to resolve equipment issues and minimize production disruptions.Additional Skills & Qualifications:NICE TO HAVE:

Excellent communication skills; candidate must be comfortable providing briefings at all levels of management

Bachelors Degree within engineering discipline (BSME, BSMET, BSEE, BSEET,)
