The ideal candidate has a passion for food and beverage, a genuine ability to connect with guests and staff alike and brings the core value of 'TEAM' to the restaurant. A natural leader, you are responsible for maintaining the highest levels of hospitality while leading service on the floor and in coordination with both foh & boh. (No experience require and we will train you if you are looking to step into management)

Responsibilities:

Manages end-to-end operations of the restaurant including resolving problems that affect the restaurant revenue, service, efficiency, and productivity. Leads both FOH to make sure everyone is on the same page from management to hourly staff.

Provide visible leadership to employees while creating a restaurant atmosphere focused on great hospitality.

Manages bar team in conjunction with the bar lead and small management team.

Take opportunities in the moment or pre/post shift to coach, train and help develop the FOH team to make them better daily.

Responsible for all employees delivering exceptional guest experience and high level of customer service including handling customer service issues at location.

Maintains restaurant building and equipment in a condition that ensures customer service and company image goals are met. Cleanliness is super important to ownership.

Coordinates management team meetings on weekly and daily basis to execute a smooth service. Go over daily expectations with management team as well as to develop our management team to work as a unit.

Is familiar with catering and event practices.

Leads hiring, orientation, training, and coaching of all employees based on the company’s standards to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.

Perform calmly and efficiently in a high-volume environment

Prepares, reviews, and submits operational reports and records to ownership to evaluate restaurant performance and adherence to company policies and procedures. Onboard new employees.

Monitors the accuracy of receiving, transfers, debits/damages, and chargebacks to ownership to maintain the accuracy of the inventory specially the bar.

Analyzes cost controls and sales trends by monitoring month end reports and statements, purchasing, food cost and labor.

Ensure food & beverage quality

Have a genuine care for guests, team members and restaurant

Ensures all employees adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with good operating practices including employee health and safety, safe handling of food, and proper product rotation.

Communicate swiftly to the management team if there are any issues

Must be efficient or learn our pos systems (toast pos) & (Resy.com reservations)

At least 3-5 years' of full-service restaurant management

Post-secondary education in relevant field an asset

Attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of or willingness to learn POS programming, reservation and scheduling platforms

Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

Customer service skills

Strong ability to lead a team

Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creative mind

Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations, multitask, and prioritize work while remaining flexible to address new issues as they arise.

Ability to work independently and with all levels of leadership in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time

The manager position is 5 shifts per week, 45-50hrs/week. Open availability evenings and weekends required. Previous restaurant experience and supervisory skills are essential. $57,000 to $60,000 per year depending on experience.
