Vocational Counselor (Bachelor's level)

Seattle vocational counseling firm is seeking a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Intern. This is a paid, full-time internship position. Our counselors work with individuals who have had work injuries in the State of Washington. The VRC Intern will provide support to vocational counselors and company owner by providing admin support, reviewing claim files, conducting occupational and educational research, and following up on case progress.

You will be training to complete the Certified Disability Management Certification (CDMS) and become registered as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor after 24 months.

In order to be considered a good fit for our team you will need to have the following:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, any discipline considered (e.g. Psychology, Social Sciences, Business).

- Professional presence and work ethic.

- Demonstrated ability to write effectively with accurate grammar, and problem solve.

- Word processing skills and PC skills.

- Customer service and teamwork attitude with excellent phone presentation.

- Availability to work a full-time, regular weekly schedule.
