Associate Photographer - Twinkle Don’t Blink

Job description:

Photographer – Associate Position (Twinkle Don’t Blink Photography)

Compensation:

Training: $25/hour (with hands-on training provided directly by lead

photographer)

Initial solo shoots: $50/hour and $40 for 30-minute shoots

After proven ability: $75 for 30-minute non-consecutive sessions and

$100/hour

Second shooting at events: $60/hour

Travel fee provided for shoots requiring longer commutes

Twinkle Don’t Blink Photography is a growing photography brand known for capturing

authentic, true to color, timeless imagery. We are looking for a reliable, creative, and

skilled photographer to join our team as we expand. This role is ideal for someone who

is passionate about people, detail oriented, and confident in their craft.

What You’ll Do

Photograph portrait sessions, engagements, families, and lifestyle shoots in a

variety of indoor and outdoor settings

Pose individuals and groups naturally while creating a comfortable, fun client

experience

Second shoot at weddings and events as needed

Travel to client locations (mostly around Seattle, Bellevue, and surrounding

areas; occasional extended travel)

Work with different lighting scenarios (bright sun, shade, cloudy, low light, indoor)

with confidence

Deliver RAW files promptly ( no editing required)

Requirements

Must have a full-frame camera with at least a 24-70mm lens (additional lenses

strongly preferred)

Must own and be proficient with a speedlite/flash

Strong understanding of camera settings and ability to shoot in any lighting

conditions

Ability to pose clients and frame subjects well

Reliable transportation (must have a car)

Excellent communication skills; must be personable, patient, and able to make

clients feel comfortable in front of the camera

Professional, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work

Must sign a contractor agreement and be willing to obtain liability insurance

Schedule & Availability

To start: 1–4 hours per week

Most sessions are evenings and weekends

Hours and opportunities will grow as you prove ability and reliability
