Automative Mechanic/Active or Retired

I own a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 that has been taken care of at Boradori in Chico. On Monday, I needed to be towed due to an odd sound coming from the engine. It turned out after they inspected that I had a timing belt issue, along with camshaft problems with something rolling around inside. BOTTOM LINE: I am seeking someone that can take my pickup and pull the engine, replace it with a rebuild/remanufactured? I have researched on-line to get an idea how much an engine would cost, etc. Now I need the estimated cost for someone to do the job.

Not in a big hurry, I just want to find the right guy to do the job. I will be having the pickup towed back to my house. If this is something you have experience with, references, etc. Thank you for you response.
