Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer (Concierge, Foot & Mobile Patrol)

Location: Phila, PA (and surrounding areas)

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible / Varies (Coverage needed 7 days a week, all shifts available)

The Mission

Cardinal Point Security Group is looking for versatile, reliable, and professional security officers to join our expanding team. We are not just looking for "guards"—we are looking for Ambassadors.

Whether you are greeting guests at a front desk, patrolling a perimeter on foot, or securing a property via mobile patrol, your goal remains the same: provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

One Role, Multiple Opportunities

As a member of our team, your assignment may vary based on client needs. We are looking for adaptable professionals capable of performing the following functions:

Concierge & Access Control: Serve as the first point of contact at luxury residential or commercial properties. You will manage building access, verify credentials, issue guest passes, and handle resident/guest inquiries with a "hospitality-first" mindset.

Foot Patrol: Maintain a high-visibility presence by conducting regular patrols of lobbies, common areas, and exterior grounds. You will check doors, identify safety hazards, and deter suspicious activity.

Vehicle Patrol: Operate a security vehicle to patrol larger properties or complexes. You will monitor parking lots, respond rapidly to calls, and ensure the security of the outer perimeter.

Surveillance Monitoring: Actively monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify and report security breaches in real-time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Be an Ambassador: Always maintain a sharp uniform appearance, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.

Observe & Report: Maintain detailed, accurate logs of all activities, including access logs and incident reports using digital reporting tools.

Respond: Act quickly and calmly during alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents, coordinating with police and EMS when necessary.

Engage: Provide exceptional customer service to residents, employees, and visitors.

The Ideal Candidate

Experienced: Minimum 3 years of security, military, or hospitality experience. Prior Law Enforcement experience is preferred.

Reliable: You show up on time, every time. You take your post seriously.

Adaptable: You are comfortable working in a lobby environment and patrolling outdoors in various weather conditions.

Tech-Savvy: Proficient with smartphone apps for reporting and monitoring surveillance equipment.

Qualified: High School Diploma or GED required.

Requirements

Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check (No felonies or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude).

Must pass a mandatory drug screen.

Must pass motor vehicle background check (required for Vehicle Patrol roles)

Physical: Ability to walk/stand for long periods, drive a vehicle safely, and sit for extended periods during monitoring duties.

Valid Driver’s License (required for Vehicle Patrol roles).
