Description
Connections PCS is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Front Office Assistant to join our school community. This position is essential to the smooth operation of the school, serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer service-driven, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic school environment. Includes school holidays and paid time off as per school policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage school correspondence
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and assist with daily attendance procedures
- Assist with enrollment, student records, and general office filing
- Support faculty and staff with administrative tasks and scheduling needs
- Coordinate with school nurses and manage basic health office procedures as needed
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or office manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or relevant certification preferred
- Previous administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
